All our people are fully qualified and Gas Safe Registered.  Up until April 2009 Corgi were responsible for registering and training gas fitters and plumbing engineers but from April 2009 Gas Safe, which is a wholly owned brand name of Capita plc, took over from Corgi in all Areas of the UK.

Northern Ireland is the only area not to have seen a change and Corgi continue there as before.

You might ask why a 24 hour plumier should need to be Gas Safe registered.

Firstly if the work concerns your central heating system then any work on the boiler must be carried out by a registered plumber. Secondly and in many ways just as important.  For an engineer to become Gas Safe registered literally costs thousands of pounds.  This is because all such people are trained to work to a quality system.  There are great advantages to you the customer with this because it drastically cuts call backs which are expensive to us and annoying to a customer.
